Favorite Day of Skiing
My favorite days of skiing have blurred together but they always include deep powder, good friends and lots of hollering from the chairlifts. We get so many pow days here it is hard to distinguish between them. The last two years in a row I have lucked into some rope drops and first chairs as the resort opened lifts for the first time. I have had memorable days at Canyons and Park City skiing with the boys but these days there is nothing I enjoy more than ripping around with my wife and daughters.
What is the best part about working for Surefoot?
The best part of working at Surefoot Canyons, aside from the skiing, is working with a great crew and getting to help share the sport we love with our customers.
Something Interesting About Me
I grew up in Pasadena, CA and learned to ski at Mammoth. I got my first Park City season pass in 1985 and I have had one ever since. I have a BA in English from the University of California, Irvine were I played D1 Water Polo. I moved to PC in ’95, three days after my last final. I was a ski instructor at PC for four years before joining Surefoot. I met my wife in ski school, we have three little girls 8, 4, & 1 who have a unique opportunity to grow up slopeside at Canyons Resort were I have been since 2001.
As a former instructor I was a supporter before an employee. There is no doubt that we offer the world’s best ski boots, orthotics and Custom liners, as well as friendly experienced staff.
